Whenever you watch National Geographic or BBC documentaries on tigers – Central India is THE place, where every wildlife filmmaker and photographer loves to shoot. Undoubtedly, it’s the landscape, scenic views, and forests that are ideal to photograph tigers and other pristine wild denizens in their myriad natural settings. Bandhavgarh is one such national park to visit and do full-day safaris. Highly recommended !!

Why is a full-day safari better than a normal safari ??

Normal safaris are in the morning and evening and restricted to one particular zone, in which your tickets have been booked. It’s short, approx 3-6 hours, depending upon the season. Now think of 10 hours and even more (14 hours during the summer season) – you get the opportunity to be inside the park. The possibilities of photography are certainly many and you are in no rush to get back. You have time, plenty of it, the entire day !!

What are the benefits of Full-day Tiger safaris in Bandhavgarh ??

You will enter the park 15 minutes before the regular morning safari (timings) and exit 15 minutes late after the regular evening safari

You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and soft beverages inside the park. Exit or take a break or re-enter, whenever you want during the entire day

Restrictions are less as you can switch zones and enter other safari gates permitted for tourists.

More time inside the national park means great chances of longer sightings especially when tigers are near the water hole, on a kill, patrolling their territories, or even with cubs

Create your Story and Share your experience

Full-day safaris are truly magical for everyone especially serious wildlifers, Social media influencers, Vloggers, Bloggers & Content creators – as they not only provide you excellent opportunities to see tigers but also to photograph various species of birds, and mammals, and even create travel videos, photo stories, etc onboard.

How many full-day safaris are good enough to book ??

Ideally, 2-3 full-day safaris are good enough, if you are creating a small documentary of 60 to 90 minutes or Vlogging or just looking to document Bandhavgarh. But if you are a serious wildlife filmmaker, photographer, or want to make coffee table books then 6-7 safaris will yield you the best of the park.

Look deep into Nature, and then you will understand everything Better – Albert Einstein

Know this before you go

Full-day safaris test your patience (sometimes you wait for long hours), tolerance to heat (during summers), and resistance to bumpy game drives. Your safari team (guide and naturalist cum driver) plays a crucial role in spotting animals, tracking tigers, and enhancing your wildlife experience. They are frequent safari-goers and have spent a lot of time with individual tigers. They know their territories and understand their daily chores. We don’t have a walkie-talkie to communicate with other Jeeps, so trust their instinct and be open-minded, as sometimes you might miss sightings.  You can’t be everywhere while on safari.

You have to understand that we are tracking these elusive and secretive cats who are territorial and can be anywhere in their domains. That’s why most of the time your safari team look forward to tracking bold tigers that are used to safari jeeps and tourists. Also visiting Bandhavgarh National Park at the right season will be fruitful.

Why is the cost of a full-day safari so high?

Full-day safaris are limited and exclusive with only 5-6 jeeps/day, plus we have the luxury of choosing the best guides and trackers for your safari. With only 2-4 pax per jeep (excluding naturalist & guide) you have ample space to carry photographic and filming gear with the middle seat out of the equation. The charges are high due to the above-mentioned benefits and the time availability you get inside the park. For details please Contact me

Note:

Full-day safaris are subject to availability, and so are elephant rides which are sometimes available.
